This lesson helps learners turn the course ideas into a simple, realistic plan they can use in real life. The focus is on small actions, done regularly, using everything they have learned so far.

Core ideas for the written lesson:

  1. Confidence grows through patterns
By now learners have seen that confidence grows through:

    • Self awareness

    • Ownership

    • Helpful self talk

    • Handling mistakes

    • Speaking up and setting boundaries

Lesson 3 shows how to turn these into a repeating weekly routine.

  2. Choose one focus area
Ask each learner to pick one life area where they want more confidence, for example:

    • Work or business

    • School or studies

    • Family or relationships

    • Health or personal goals

  3. Build a simple weekly plan
Give them a four part structure:

    • Awareness check
      Once a week, ask:
      “Where did I feel confident”
      “Where did I hold back”

    • One practice action
One small action linked to that area, such as:

      • Ask a question

      • Share an idea

      • Practise a skill for ten minutes

      • Say no one time where needed

    • Self talk review
      After the action, write down:

      • The first thought that came up

      • One kinder and more useful thought to use next time

    • Reflection
At the end of the week:

      • “What did I try”

      • “What did I learn”

      • “What is one thing I will repeat next week”

  4. Keep it realistic
    Emphasise:

    • Start small

    • It is better to do one small thing every week than a big thing once and stop

    • Progress is more important than perfection

Class or self reflection activity:

Have learners write their first one week plan with:

  • Their chosen focus area

  • Their one practice action

  • The day and time they will do it

  • How they will record what happened (journal, phone notes, etc.)
